This wine comes from Chateau le Grand Verdus. It has been produced by the same family since 1820, avg age of vines is 20 yrs, yield of 40 hl/ha, density of vines: 3300-5500 vines/ha, manual harvest,fermentation in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks at 26-28 degrees C, maximum 3 wks maceration for preservation of fresh fruit characters, pneumatic pressing; 18-20 mos ageing in 90% stainless steel tanks, 10% in one yr old barrels.

Great Bordeaux character, optimum ripeness and concentration gives good body and appealing spicy notes. Mainly merlot based this wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for earlier consumption. This wine is excellent from 2 years after harvest up to 5 years. AVAILABLE SOON |
